1. Who we are

This website, tarasaxon.com, is operated by The Intentional Wealth Co. Pty Ltd (ABN 32 691 442 672, ACN 691 442 672), trading as Tara Saxon. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean The Intentional Wealth Co. Pty Ltd.

You can contact us at any time about anything in this policy:

  • Email: [email protected]

  • Post: The Intentional Wealth Co. Pty Ltd, Unit 1089, 4 Young Street, Neutral Bay NSW 2089

2. What this policy covers

This policy explains how we collect, hold, use and disclose personal information through tarasaxon.com and through the services we provide - keynotes, workshops, team and executive coaching, embedded programs, diagnostics, and digital resources.

Our separate consumer coaching business operates at certifiedmoneycoach.com under its own privacy policy. If you have dealt with us through that site, that policy governs the information you provided there.

We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Spam Act 2003 (Cth) and the Do Not Call Register Act 2006 (Cth).

3. What personal information we collect

Information you give us

  • Your name, email address, phone number, job title and organisation, when you make an enquiry, book a call, download a resource, or subscribe to our emails

  • Event and engagement details, such as event date, location, audience size and profile, objectives, and indicative budget

  • Responses you provide in diagnostics, self-assessments, surveys, workbooks or live polls, including the Pulse Check

  • Billing and transaction information if you purchase a digital product or program through the site

  • The content of your correspondence with us, by email, phone, contact form, LinkedIn or in person

  • Feedback, reviews and testimonials you choose to give us, and any permission you give us to publish them

Information we collect automatically

  • Your IP address, browser type, device type and operating system

  • Pages you visit, time spent, referring website, and links you click

  • Whether you open our emails and which links you click within them

  • Information collected through cookies and similar technologies - see section 8

Information we collect from others

  • Contact and briefing details provided by conference producers, event organisers, speaker bureaus and client organisations

  • Publicly available professional information, such as LinkedIn profiles and organisation websites, when we are researching or preparing for an engagement

  • Referrals, where someone passes on your details so we can contact you

4. Sensitive information

We do not seek sensitive information as that term is defined in the Privacy Act.

Our work concerns financial pressure and its effect on workplace performance, and people do sometimes share personal circumstances with us in that context. Where you volunteer that information, we treat it as confidential, use it only for the purpose for which you gave it, and do not add it to any marketing record.

5. Live polls, diagnostics and audience data

When we run a live poll, diagnostic or reflective exercise during a keynote, workshop or program, responses are collected anonymously through the polling platform.

We use those responses only in de-identified, aggregate form - to understand patterns across organisations, and in our research, writing and marketing. Specifically:

  • We do not report individual responses to an employer, a host organisation, or anyone else

  • We do not identify participants by name, role, team or any other identifier

  • We do not produce leaderboards, rankings or individual-level reporting

  • Where we quote results from a session, we quote the denominator with them - for example "19 of 26 people" - never a person

This applies whether the results are shared with the client organisation, published, or used in a proposal.

6. Why we collect and use personal information

We use personal information to:

  • Respond to your enquiry, prepare a proposal, and scope and deliver an engagement

  • Send you a resource, whitepaper, diagnostic result or other material you asked for

  • Manage bookings, contracts, invoicing and payment

  • Send you emails, articles and updates where you have consented or where it is reasonably expected in the context of our business relationship

  • Tailor the material we send you to the sector you work in and the resources you have already requested

  • Understand how our website and emails are used, so we can improve them

  • Produce de-identified, aggregated research and insights

  • Meet our legal, tax, insurance and record-keeping obligations

If we need to use your information for a purpose not listed here, we will ask you first, unless the law allows or requires otherwise.

7. Marketing emails and your consent

We only send marketing emails where you have opted in, or where you have an existing business relationship with us and would reasonably expect to hear from us.

Every marketing email we send identifies us and includes a working unsubscribe link. If you unsubscribe, we will action it promptly and, in any case, within five business days as required by the Spam Act 2003 (Cth). You can also email [email protected] and we will remove you.

Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop transactional messages such as booking confirmations, invoices, or material relating to an engagement you have contracted with us.

8. Cookies, analytics and tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to make the site work, remember your preferences, and understand how the site is used. The tools we use are:

  • Google Analytics - to measure website traffic and understand how visitors move through the site

  • GoHighLevel - our customer relationship, forms, booking and email platform, which records form submissions and email engagement

  • LinkedIn Insight Tag - to measure the performance of our LinkedIn activity and, where relevant, show our content to similar professional audiences  [DELETE THIS LINE IF NOT INSTALLED AT LAUNCH]

  • Meta Pixel - to measure the performance of our advertising and content on Facebook and Instagram  [DELETE THIS LINE IF NOT INSTALLED AT LAUNCH]

You can set your browser to refuse or delete cookies. Some parts of the site may not work properly if you do. You can opt out of Google Analytics using the browser add-on Google provides for that purpose, and you can manage advertising preferences within your LinkedIn and Meta account settings.

9. Who we share personal information with

We share personal information only where it is necessary, and only with:

  • Service providers who help us run the business - our customer relationship and email platform, website hosting, analytics, scheduling, payment processing, file storage, and accounting

  • Client organisations, where you are the contact for an engagement - and, for participant data, only in de-identified aggregate form as described in section 5

  • Conference producers, venues and event organisers, where necessary to deliver a booked engagement

  • Our professional advisers, including lawyers, accountants and insurers, where reasonably required

  • Anyone else where you have consented, or where we are required or authorised by law

We do not sell personal information. We do not rent, trade or exchange it, and we do not provide it to third parties for their own marketing.

10. Overseas disclosure

Some of the service providers we use store or process information outside Australia, principally in the United States. This includes our customer relationship and email platform, our analytics provider, and our payment processor.

Before disclosing personal information to an overseas recipient we take steps that are reasonable in the circumstances to ensure it is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles, including relying on the provider’s contractual data protection commitments.

11. Automated processes

We use automation in limited and low-impact ways. Our email platform segments recipients based on the resources they have requested, the sector they work in, and their engagement with our emails. Our diagnostics, including the Pulse Check, generate an indicative result from the responses you provide.

These processes do not make decisions that could reasonably be expected to significantly affect your rights or interests. Any decision about working with you or your organisation is made by a person. If this changes, we will update this policy and tell you what has changed.

12. How we hold and protect information

We hold personal information electronically, in our customer relationship platform, email systems and cloud file storage. We protect it with access controls, multi-factor authentication where available, reputable providers, and by limiting access to those who need it.

No system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee the security of information transmitted to us over the internet, and any transmission is at your own risk.

13. Data breaches

If a data breach occurs that is likely to result in serious harm to any individual whose information we hold, we will assess it promptly, take steps to contain it, and notify affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner in line with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

14. How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy, or for as long as the law requires. Financial and transaction records are kept for at least five years, as required under Australian tax law. Marketing contact details are kept until you unsubscribe, and then only as much as we need to make sure we do not contact you again.

When we no longer need information, we destroy it or de-identify it.

15. Accessing and correcting your information

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, and you can ask us to correct it if it is wrong, out of date or incomplete. Email [email protected].

We will respond within 30 days. We may need to verify your identity first. There is no charge for making a request, though we may charge a reasonable fee for the time involved in supplying a large amount of information. If we refuse a request, we will tell you why in writing.

16. Complaints

If you think we have mishandled your personal information, please tell us first. Email [email protected] with the details and we will acknowledge your complaint within five business days and respond within 30 days.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can take the complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner:

  • Website: oaic.gov.au

  • Phone: 1300 363 992

  • Post: GPO Box 5218, Sydney NSW 2001

17. Children

This website and our services are directed at organisations and working professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

18. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated at the top. If we make a significant change to how we handle personal information, we will tell you.
